Tasmanian Scholarships: Florence Nightingale Grants & Awards
The Florence Nightingale Grants and Awards aim to advance nursing and midwifery practice in Tasmania by offering annual Grants and Awards for:
- education and research
- recognising professional achievements, and
- encouraging the pursuit of excellence in professional nursing and midwifery practice by promoting career development and leadership in nursing and midwifery.
The applications open 12 May and close on 31 August 2021

Mary Latimore scholarship
To provide Queensland (QLD) Registered Nurses who have an interest in Stomal
Therapy, an opportunity to undertake formal study in this speciality. Promoting
professional development of nurses in Stomal Therapy will improve the quality of nursing
practice and ensure that people in QLD have access to a higher standard of nursing skills.
